We had a 70 degree day the end of October and not a cloud in sight. Mary Lynn + Stuart were married in Bardstown with our pre and post ceremony celebrations taking place at his family’s residence.
Navy, Ivory, Gold and greenery so gorgeous my eyes swelled every time looking at it. A beautiful ceremony at St. Joseph Cathedral, backyard tents and string lights, hot cocoa bars, their own snapchat filter!!!!, confetti poppers – the list goes on and on. Last month they buried a bourbon bottle and they dug it up and took shots with their wedding party. They incorporated their sweet dog all morning, added touches of different grades of rock from the family’s quarry business – it was personal and intimate, yet wildly fun – and TRULY KENTUCKY. It truly was a smooth, perfect, gorgeous day from start to finish.
This is my last wedding of the year to blog, and how bittersweet that is. It’s been an AMAZING season, and couldn’t have picked a better one to end with a bang. A HUGE congrats to Lynn and Stuart, a big thank you too – for choosing me to be a part of this day!
