Rachel + Forrest – this day is PACKED with tradition, family values, allllllll the happy tears and all celebrated right on their family farm. If you can get through this blog within smiling or a little tear in your eye – you win, ’cause I sure can’t.
Rachel’s family are some of the most hardworking that I know. And in our little town, it’s hard not to know them. They raise crops, cows, run a trucking company, quarry, AND one of the most gorgeous pumpkin patches in town among so much more. So when they told me they re-did their barn to have this wedding right in the middle of a corn field – I wasn’t surprised at all. And my gosh, they turned it into a palace. The ceremony was surrounded by corn fields as far as you could see. It truly was something to be seen.
These two kept things traditional and didn’t see each other until the ceremony. They both cried, I cried, we all cried. Oh of my favorite parts of their ceremony was taking a knee for one of the most emotional, powerful prayers I’ve ever witnessed. At this point ya’ll, I’m so happy that I have a camera to hide my cry face behind.
A big cheers to these two as they start on a new AMAZING chapter in their lives – where there is love, there is life. <3
