Amy + Andy. This was my first wedding of the year and a perfect one – all the spring vibes of blooms and rain (my fav!), a small, special guest list keeping an intimate feel throughout the day – and those are my very favorite days. While I love every wedding day I photograph, the simple and intimate are always something my heart is drawn to.
When I arrived at Amy’s parents I walked into all the homespun things you love the most when you think of home – Mom washing dishes, a quiet afternoon, a sister doing hair, another turning pages in a book. So all of their portraits are right there at home, or right down the street at the church I’m sure they remember from their own childhood.
