This is a shining light of how these established friendships through photography fill my heart right up. I’ve had the pleasure of having these amazing souls in front of my camera many times, even when they’ve moved all over the US. This time, they drove from St. Louis to spend the afternoon with me and celebrate their 7 year anniversary married, 15 years together – and finally got some wedding portraits. We danced in the sun and laid in fields, we pulled out my canoe and photographed them right in the open field. The kids played with my dogs and drove my car – and everyone left smiling – including me. Thankful for love, this world sure needs more of it.
