Q: Where are you located?
I am located in Elizabethtown, KY but shoot all over the place – travel is one of my favorite things, so there isn’t a place too far for me! :D I shoot all over Louisville, Bardstown, Elizabethtown and Hodgenville quite regularly but will go as far as I need to (with possible travel fees.)
Q: How do I set up an appointment?
If I’ve photographed you before, you can use the book link in my menu! You’ll be able to see my availability, pay your retainer, sign your contract and get my session guide. Currently not taking new clients at this time.
Q: When are you available to shoot?
Moday-Friday – available for portrait sessions.
Saturdays and Sundays: Days off. No.
I am closed every year for the season mid-December through the end of February, and will open my booked for portrait sessions the end of Feb. This gives me time to get my travel schedule pinned down every year, with a little rest in between. :)
Q:How long does it typically take for my gallery of proofs to be ready for viewing?
My typical turnaround time is between 7-10 days, however this changes based on my schedule. I strive to get everything back to you in a timely manner!
Q: How long will my Gallery be available?
Your gallery will be up for 90 days for viewing and ordering. There is a $25 fee for re-uploading a gallery after it has expired. Final Images are only stored for 1 year.
Q: Are digital images included?
YES. And you are welcome to order prints and specialty items directly from your downloadable gallery as well.
Q: How many poses are included?
There is no limit – I prefer our shoot to be lots of fun and natural – I will do both posed and candid imagery, and definitely do not stop at a set amount. ;) I do select my favorites from your session to edit and present, so not all posing/imagery may be available in your gallery.
Q: What is the best way to schedule a newborn session?
I suggest around 2 weeks after your due date, and you can go ahead and schedule that and we can make adjustments as needed when the time comes. I schedule these during the daytime hours when I have the most flexibility on my calendar. Please don’t wait until baby is already two weeks old to contact me as it is likely I won’t have anything available that quickly for you. It’s always best to pre-plan!
Q: Do you have a studio?
Yes, I sure do! I have an in-home studio in the basement of my home. I use this for newborns, babies, toddlers and simple portraits. While it is large and homey, it is not suitable for large groups.
Q: How much does your ‘First Year’ Package cost?
This is a simple discount, not a total package. This works by scheduling Newborn, 6 months sessions with me at regular price, and your One Year Session is comes with a $150 discount. Easy stuff!
Q: Do you offer Mini Sessions?
Yes! But only once a year in the late fall, and have a very simplistic approach. I do NOT offer styled holiday sessions (Easter, Christmas, Valentines, etc) but will absolutely be happy to refer you to other photographers in the area that do!
Q: Do you travel?
Immediately yes. Travel is one of my favorite things – I even give discounts for travel work, or course with any accommodations and expenses to be covered by the client.
Q: What is your specialty?
People. Awesome people just like you. I’m a fun, laid back gal and I’m good at connecting with my clients – making you feel comfortable is my number one priority! So, that way we can get outrageous belly laughs, deep emotion and connection. Currently offering maternity, newborn, family, children but will be happy to chat about your dreams. Currently only booking elopements and destinations weddings and am retiring from traditional weddings this year.
