It’s been awhile since I’m blogged a newborn, and by looking at my blog you’d probably think I only shot weddings! So, obviously time to share how I spend the rest of my week. :)
Meet River, this sweetest little chunk you’ve ever met. 12 days new!
I get asked a lot about these sessions, so here’s how they work! Email me with your due date, and save some wiggle room on my calendar for you when baby arrives. Once that sweet baby makes it’s arrival, email me and I get you right on my calendar. I shoot these during the day, during the week when I have the most flexibility on my calendar – and timing is important – these shoots are best done within the first two weeks of birth, so don’t hesitate contacting me!
After that I sent you a comprehensive guide with instructions on how to prepare and what to expect – we really get to know each other during this time – we’re hanging out in studio together for around 3 hours on average for these shoots (and I promise as they get older they are much more quick!) It’s important to always keep babe comfortable, calm and sleepy – so we go around their schedule. :) I provide all of the props unless it is something specific that I may not have, then you bring that with you. No extra charge for family shots, or even with a puppy!
I have a full blown studio in the basement of my home, everything we need is right there. Super cozy and roomy and the comfiest couch on the planet for my parents to sink down into and relax, while we listen to some CCR, a little Jack Johnson and probably some Fleetwood Mac. :)
So here’s a cheers to that fresh baby smell and the youngest Braves fan out there!
